State Veterans Homes
The Commonwealth operates six veterans homes which provide housing and health care to state veterans. The War Council assists the Commonwealth by nominating members of its organizations to serve on the homes’ advisory boards. Please click here to view the appointments.

Free event tickets for veterans

Project HERO
Project HERO (Healing Exercise Rehabilitation Opportunity) provides training and sponsors cycling experiences for injured servicemen and women. Part of the Ride 2 Recovery non-profit program, it offers specially adapted bikes to suit individuals’ needs. Go to website https://ride2recovery.com/ for more information.
Free yoga lessons for veterans
Free classes are open to all veterans, spouses and significant others on Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 pm at the American Legion Post in Hellertown. Registration not required. Walk-ins welcome.
